When I walked into this project I was being highly influenced by David Bowie and his tailored outfits and how he would style himself from wearing these outfits. I started wearing loafers and  looking into androgynous trends as a women, adding a much cooler look to my collection of vintage shirts at home. I am influenced by colour on a daily basis. Bright colours and colour clashes have always caught my eye and even as a kid, painting my bedroom yellow and orange to match everything else I had in my hippy like wardrobe was a dream.

I decided on the colour palette to match blooming flowers from the English spring and I was lucky to see the colours around me from the blossom trees just in time, as our spring was held up so much this year. I added gold aspects to the collection as I feel you always need a metallic or black to let what your wearing really stand out and to give it that richness I love in clothes; the  expensive look.

Everything in the collection is comfortable fits, breezy for the coming summer but also smart and rich in its visual aspect. I pictured my collection to be worn by young couples off to a beach holiday, dinning out and seeing the sights of the country. This collection is for young people who don't mind spending a little more then usual and love dressing to impress.

My collection is about the 1960’s tailored look, I have taken the more sophisticated and feminine look into my collections, by making the clothes more elegant. This collection is made from up-cycled clothing provided by the Cyrenians. I just gave it a more 1960’s feel by adding floral prints and big coats with shoulder pads and taking it back in time with the location.
I have been intrigued about fashion for about 10 years of my life, like I was always drawing and sketching in books, notepads, on paper, making up my own little fashion line in school which was called ‘Three girls one heart’ the most things I used to draw was dresses and skirts, I was very fond of how they looked on girls and older women and the stiletto it made me and people have and how it use to seem skirts would float when the wind pushes against it. So since then I always wanted to be a dress designer also known as a haute couture designer, in those days I didn’t know what it was because I was still young and experimenting with things; but as I grew older I started to realise that I love haute couture and researched more about it and I wanted to practice this amazing piece of clothes. So I would generally say my brand it’s always or most likely directed into haute couture high end, expensive clothes whether its’ ready to wear or not ready to wear.
